New Indian Express Linux course : 150 attend training About 150 engineering students from Orissa, Jharkhand and Bihar are participating in Linux networking certificate programme at Xavier Institute of Management (XIM) here. The Programme, which has become an annual summer event at XIM, began on Monday. City-based Nettech is offering the programme that will continue for a month. Speaking on the occasion, manager of Nettech Swapan Purkait said the programme is designed to increase the knowledge on Linux and Linux based solutions. He said the advantage of networking products is that they continue to co-exist in the marketplace while competing with each other. The students are provided with a lab which doesn't have any window machine, informed Purkait. A similar programme will also be conducted in XLRI, Jamshedpur from May 16. |
