Nettech workshop in Kalimpong
KALIMPONG, Nov. 17. — Nettech, a networking firm based
in Bhubaneswar will be conducting a ten-day workshop
in Network Management (Linux Environment) at the BB
Pradhan Management College from tomorrow. “This
ten-day workshop will be highly influential for the
overall development of our management students,” Mr
Dushant Thapa, faculty member of BB Pradhan Management
College said.
He confirmed that this workshop will be the
first-of-its kind in the region. “The programs are
designed to increase the technical knowledge base of
Linux and Linux-based solutions in the market today,
giving customers the confidence they need. Linux is
the fastest growing server operating environment and
Nettech is making a significant commitment in driving
Linux into the enterprise. Hence such networking will
benefit the students highly,” the CEO of Nettech, Mr
Swapan Purkait said.
A total of 53 students participate in this ten-day
workshop. With the completion of the course, Novell, a
leading provider of Net Services Software, will hand
over to the participants a certificate each.
Significantly Nettech has also signed two separate
MOUs with Xavier Institute of Management (Bhubaneswar)
and with Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur
for conducting such certificate programmes in Network
