Bhubaneswar,
May 9. The Xavier Institute of Management,
Bhubaneswar, in association with the city-based
networking company Nettech, will conduct a summer
training program for engineering students this summer.
The
programme is a certificate programme in Network
management (Linux environment). Dr. Gopal Krishna
Nayak, former Dean and professor of information
system, is the programme coordinator. More than 80 students from Private and government engineering colleges of the state will participate in the programme beginning 17th May. The second batch of students will join the programme in the first week of June. Dr. Nayak said: “In recent times, there is a growing demand for Linux in every area of IT industry, whether it is used as the Os behind Firewalls, Web servers, e-mail servers or even at desktops.” –SNS |
